Going back to my original point, the lack of male content makes gameplay difficult for someone who has seen this repeated in most expansion packs with some hairs being slightly different from next while the list for hairs for women continue to amaze me with the variety. Unrelated, but why do my skinny sims have to look emaciated, not lithe? Why do my big sims have to be top heavy and can't just be well rounded out? It is frustrating. Why does the head shape become distorted as a consequence of changing a character's gender? A similar issue happens when I make transgender men in my game or even just making male sims with feminine frames suddenly look dented. When a male sim wears feminine clothing, suddenly, the game finds it necessary to distort their body. I will customize my whole town before I feel like playing it because I love making various characters to act out stories and scenarios, but continually, I am dissatisfied with the quality and frankly quantity of male hair in The Sims 4.Īdditionally, I find it hard to find clothing versatility difficult. My favorite thing to do in-game is customization. The selection is limited and most hairstyles are repetitive copies of previous ones or eyesores and it feels like there is no in-between. I would be correct in saying all expansion packs cater more women than they do men in terms of Create-A Sims items in Expansion packs.
In my opinion, The Sims 4 is a game marketed towards young women. There is not a lot of male content in the sims 4. This is more of an analysis than it is of a request.
